University of York

The
University
of York UK (computer science department) provides
a Modular MSc in Safety Critical Systems Engineering.
This course addresses the issues involved in the
construction of safety critical software. There
is also a course in System Safety Engineering,
initially offered as a certificate course, which
takes a systems approach, emphasising the principles
and techniques of hazard and safety assessment
for a broad range of technologies. The MSc programme
is also available as a number of short courses.

ESSS

ESSS, the
European Systems Safety Society,
is a registered Charity in England and Wales, dedicated to the advancement of
the art and science of systems safety. It provides advanced training in the
qualitative and quantitative seven stage risk assessment methodology described
in the Yellow Book.
